Fire breaks out at Trump Tower in New York City, FDNY says

A fire broke out at Trump Tower in New York City’s midtown on Monday, sending smoke into the sky.

A fire was reported on the roof of the high-rise on Fifth Avenue just before 7 a.m., FDNY confirmed to Fox News.

More than 126 firefighters responded to the scene. Video footage showed several firefighters on the roof while smoke spewed out.

No injuries were reported. it's unclear what started the fire.
